Held at the Oakland Marriott Convention Center in July, the 2010 US Salsa Open was one of the most anticipated Salsa dance competitions in the Bay area. Organizer Ricardo Sanchez was present to welcome Danscents! founder Ashanti Altovese as the co-sponsor of the event. By providing $3000 in Salsalicious! products for female winners in professional, amateur, and team Salsa divisions, along with Bachata and Cha Cha Cha dance divisions, Danscents! continued to show it's support and celebrate female empowerment through dance.  The event was extremely special and made many dancers in the Bay area proud of the talent and city.
